Therapy
LMSW practicing under supervision at Wise Therapy, working toward AASECT sex therapy certification.
Closeness can be built in more ways than most of us are taught. My work as an individual, couples, and relationship therapist grew out of years studying how sex, sexuality, and connection get shaped, often pushed onto people, by whoever holds the power to define them. Growing up inside those systems myself, I found real agency in exploring alternatives, and I bring that same curiosity into the room with clients. I believe people deserve to talk about sex and intimacy without shame, and that real change happens in relationships, not isolation. There's a difference between being alone and being lonely. No one has to carry it all themselves. I define intimacy as closeness, and there are endless ways to build it. My hope is to help you find yours.
I provide individual, couples, and relationship therapy at Wise Therapy, under clinical supervision, specializing in intimacy, sexuality, identity, and relationship structures across LGBTQ+, kink, and polyamorous populations. I draw on an integrative, non-pathologizing blend of narrative therapy, CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, psychodynamic work, and somatic therapy, shaped to what each client or relationship dynamic needs. I work with sexual health, desire, arousal, and pleasure; intimacy, consent, and communication; LGBTQ+ identity and minority stress; kink, polyamory, and other nonnormative relationships; masculinity, femininity, gender, and gender roles; digital intimacies and adult content usage, sexual technologies, adult industries, and how technology and digital life are reshaping connection, identity, and relationships to others. I also have a particular interest in working with leaders and changemakers, in corporate and social spaces alike.
I concentrated in both Psychology and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Colgate University, and received a Master's in Social Work from Columbia School of Social Work, specializing in Leadership, Management, and Entrepreneurship. My background includes bystander intervention facilitation, LGBTQ+ initiatives, and sexual violence survivor support work. I'm an LMSW practicing under supervision at Wise Therapy, currently working toward AASECT certification as a sex therapist.
Outside of sessions, I enjoy finding presence in my body and mind through movements like skating, surfing, cycling, hiking, and creating large-scale art.
